ABOUT ME

My way to Magic.

I started learning about magic through “tricks”, and while my rational self was intrigued, a big part of myself was always filled with disappointment. Disappointment about “knowing”, because “knowing” means the loss of the magical experience. I didn’t just want to accept that, so I traveled around the world trying to find “real magic”.

What I learned until now is what I share in every performance, where I keep learning and discovering different meanings of magic, through the people I meet there.
Magic came back to me through the sparkle in their eyes, in that exact moment, when they forget about what we call reality.

INTERVIEW FRAGMENTS

– How did you get to magic?

Because of the questions, the search for answers and the realization that what prevails are the questions. The more we do, the more information we get and more we can learn. At first it was pure curiosity and a game. I am a very rational person and i wanted to understand the secrets. I began to study with books and to learn with other magicians in Tucumán. What keeps me busy now is the study of the history of magic, the concept of what is meant by magic.

– Are there magicians or teachers who never reveal secrets?

The wizarding community is very open. I have met and shared with many people in places where no one knew me. I have always been received amazingly everywhere and for sure always some magicians have a more guarded or caring secret, as in any profession i think. Each one has little secrets that they have been learning through experience. But there is more and more openness to those who want to enter the world of magic. Every time one meets a magician, they share something. Furthermore, today information is everywhere and easy to access.

– You offered shows in many countries. How did you manage to travel to Denmark and where else did you work?

I had lived in Miami (USA) for a year, and the Nordic countries always caught my attention. A one-year job opportunity was given and I left with a colleague from Tucumán in 2017. It was a beautiful experience. Then we travelled for a few months through Russia, Thailand and Mongolia. I lived three months in Bologna (Italy). Then I arrived in Berlin, where I have lived since February 2019. I worked at the Museum of Magic, where I did shows and guided tours in different languages. There, perceptions of the concept of magic across cultures and religions are explored.

– How is your mind after a show?

It always changes, it depends. When I give four to six shows a day, I get tired physically, but I am left with a lot of energy. What I enjoy the most is gatherings of small groups of people and share a possibility of magic.

Magic in the hands of spectators is the most rewarding feeling. It is about enjoying together that unique and unrepeatable moment.
